My interest in orthodontics was kindled when I took my sister for an opinion about a gap between her upper teeth. I drive past that place on my visits to Leicester. It is now a community centre and I reminisce about how one’s life can be redirected by a chance meeting.
When I was 17 and deciding my career, I went watch my dad work. At that moment I thought ‘this is what I want to do’.. Fundamentally what made a mark, was the ability to help, connect and work collaboratively with others. Since a young age I enjoyed working precisely with my hands, I had now found a way to connect and help with this skill.
