Invisalign is a series of clear plastic aligners that are used to treat mild tooth alignment problems and are useful for post treatment alignment relapse. FIRST Ortho is an authorised Invisalign Orthodontist near Epping and East London
Introduction to Invisalign
Your Invisalign treatment starts with a mould or a scan of your teeth. We use this information to create a step-by-step simulation of your alignment process and create a series of aligners to take you through these steps.
Prior to this treatment, your teeth may need to be filed down slightly to make room for movement. Once your treatment has begun, you will need to swap your aligner with the following one every 1-2 weeks, and Dr Patel will need to see you for a check-up every 6 weeks on average.

Is Invisalign right for you?
While Invisalign can treat orthodontic issues such as gaps, underbites, overbites and overcrowding, it might not be suitable for complex or more severe alignment cases. Due to this, traditional braces may be required for the desired outcome. If the appearance of a brace is a factor for your treatment, have you heard of ceramic braces? Or the invisible Incognito brace?
Invisalign aligners are removable so you can take them out to eat and drink, as well as when brushing and flossing your teeth. Although, for a successful treatment, we must recommend that you wear your aligners full time for the duration of treatment.
Please note that although clients report feeling less discomfort than with traditional braces, all types of orthodontic treatment can cause some discomfort within the mouth.
