Invisalign and Spark

Your Aligner treatment starts with a consultation. Your views are important to achieving the result you desire. Before treatment we would check a step-by-step simulation of your alignment process and create a series of aligners to take you through these steps. We would need 3D scans of your teeth, x-rays and images of your face and mouth to create the and design the plan.

Prior to this treatment, your teeth may need to be polished and shaped. For best control we may add tooth coloured small components to the teeth – these are the ‘control handles’ for the aligner to work better. Once your treatment has begun, you will need to swap your aligner with the following one every 1-2 weeks. Dr Patel see you to check the tracking of your teeth every 6 weeks on average.

Are Aligners Right for You?

While Invisalign can correct orthodontic issues such as gaps, underbites, overbites and overcrowding, they not be suitable for complex or more severe malalignments. Other braces may be used in conjunction for the desired outcome. If the appearance of a brace is a factor we may disuss ceramic braces? Or the invisible Incognito brace?

Invisalign aligners are removable so you can take them out to eat and drink, as well as when brushing and gum care. Although, for a successful treatment, we must recommend that you wear your aligners full time for the duration of treatment.

Please note that although clients report feeling less discomfort than with traditional braces, all types of orthodontic treatment can cause some discomfort for a few days when treatment is commenced.
